Having an attractive hairstyle is important to most girls and women. It is also important that your hairstyle is becoming to your face and your age. Most women today have busy lifestyles and do not have time for complicated styles that take a lot of time to create. It is especially important for women who have thinning hair as the choices sometimes seem limited. The following are some of the hairstyles that will boost volume for your thin hair:
The double up-pony tail
The double-up pony tail adds volume to your hair. It is made by making two pony tails one under the other. The lower pony tail gives the illusion of longer hair and the upper pony tail hides the lower one. If you have enough volume in the upper pony tail, you will only have to fluff it. If not, you may have to backcomb both pony tails to create more volume. Adding a bit of curl can add volume as well.
The stacked pony tail
The stacked pony tail is actually 3 pony tails, one under the other. Backcomb all three and arrange the hair and pin in place to the back of your head. To add extra volume, you can pin locks of false hair into one of the pony tails. With today’s styles, it is not absolutely necessary for the locks to match your natural hair color. In fact, contrasting colors are all the rage.
The backcombing hairstyle with bangs
Backcombing always adds volume to any hair style, not just pony tails. You should be careful not to backcomb so much that the hair looks tangled and you can see through it. Keep the top layer smooth and add some curl. A lot of women who have thin hair also have thin hair along the forehead line. Creating a bang can give the illusion of more hair especially if the bangs are left long and given a curl with a curling iron to fluff them up.
